I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. I have been named the musical director for The Remember Balloons: Live!, a special performance happening at EJ Thomas Hall in Akron on June 20th. This opportunity means a lot to me, and I want to take a moment to explain why this show is so meaningful and what you can expect from the event.

What Makes The Remember Balloons So Special
The Remember Balloons is a musical experience designed to bring joy and understanding to kids and families. Based on the children's book, TRB is a heartfelt exploration of connection across generations in family, and deals head-on with memory loss; something that grieves a lot of us with older family members.
As the musical director, my role is to coach and conduct the musicians through the process along with my great friend, Akronite and composer, Theron Brown. He's written some fascinating music that whimsically captures this story, and is accessible for both kids and adults. I've been working closely with the dancers and musicians and I can't wait for you to see the final product. We're even filming it for PBS!
